| What is Calybord here is an example of the claybord that the oil painting is painted on This surface is many layers of clay sanded smooth to give a porcelain like surface. The paintings have a luminous look to them when finished and usually dry faster than paintings on canvas. The edges on the 2 inch and 1.5 inch are white pine and need no frame, the edges on the 1/8th inch are thin and need a frame to hang or small table top easel to display. |
